My supervisor always has strong bias on his students who majored in English linguistics as their master grogramme. His views on the essays and paper strarted with an English linguistic theory will always be very critical. The way he crisizes our essay writing which was strongly influenced by English langauge is far out of the proper. And this is his key criticism for all who learn English language and have strong believe in English linguistic theory. Bad grammar, lack of coherence and English length sentences reflected in the Chinese essay writing are all he complains about.
My project proposal was not as perfect as I expected since his critical comments on it this Thursday. The way he tried to find out the errors in my proposal sounds like an evil damage to what I have done so far. There was no positive comment as he always does to any of his other students. It seemed like that his responsibility is just to find the improper views in our paper and provide no solution to any of them. I guess he knows nothing about it as well.

That's the way it always is in an academic environment. I had a professor once who did not like Southern people. He was from the North. He said bad things about Southern people. I told him he was wrong and had no right to say these things, and should leave and go back to the North if he did not like us in the South. He tried to have me dismissed from the college,but the President of the college told him he should not speak badly of the South to Southern students. The professor gave me a middle grade, not a good grade. There are bad people in every line or work, it is part of life.
