Coming back from where we used to work, we had a fresh start in Beijing West Railway station. The weather feels colder than the south obviously. The city, the campus didn't seem to lose anything without our staying for a month. People still get up to stuck in the traffic, in the buses and cars; music starts for class break; other mates do their research, readings, go for classes, work for their suppervisors.
But we did experience differently physically and spiritually. Rat disaster drove us to madness. Mice' stayed in our home for nest since we left last time. Books, coats, sweaters, quilts, cases bags, everything they feel comfortable, eatable and warm have been their favorites. Home moving from one apartment to another apartment, cleaning, washing became our main work during the last few weeks.
The exhausted class teaching finished one week ago, then we packed up for coming back.
A few chattings with collegues and students were impressive. Our postgraduate students treated a birthday supper for CHEN, which was exciting. He's quite moved from it though birthday cakes remained little after being shared by 12 students. We were happy for the rewarding from our students.
